* Trier * The Oldest City in Germany. (Pt 1)

Ok, I know this is probably the most random thing... especially to post first, but the cars you see here are amazing! I can tell you that if I didn't post a VW here and there I'd have some very angry friends :0p  This bug was in the parking garage waiting to welcome us to Trier! I was in *love* lol

Alright.. On to the good stuff! (I KNOW that won't be the last car I post though hehehe)

As we made our way down to La Porta Nigra we took in all the small beauties. The cobblestone roads... plant covered walls, and the detailed doors to quaint little houses.

After about 5 minutes of walking we hit the center of downtown Trier. The colorful buildings, fountains, and sculptures suck you in to the history of the city. I felt like I was thrown back in time hundreds of years.

Ah! All of the wonderful churches! Here are a few pics to feed your curiousity..

The sanctuaries are HUGE and All the detail is mind blowing! It must having taking forever just to get every piece in its place. Each room led to another .. it was kind of like a giant labyrinth.After a while of walking around inside the church.. we decided to head out to the courtyard.

So many sculptures and carvings to look at! You need plenty of time to take it all in!... Which is why I'm sure we'll be back a few times while we are here.

We finished up our detour at the churches and set back on our walk to La Porta Nigra.

A trend. . . that has gone WAY too far! lol

It's the HAWT trend in the area to pimp out old rides and throw huge rims on them.. This is nothing unusual... BUT, when you have a lift and your car is taller than most trucks... I think you've taken it a little TOO far.. lol :::::Thro some deees on it:::::
Me and Mike were driving the other day.. and I saw this car from the road.. I was laughing SOOOOO hard, I HAD to get him to turn around so I could get a picture,,, and he'd be able to share this laugh with me!

Uh.. yeah.. This is real.

There wasn't even a step to get into it... Guess you have to jump?

Awe... mini Mike.. LOL

If we were to be in an accident with this car.. let's just say we would lose our heads in the battle.

Ode To The Woman Who Ran Me OFF The Road.

Hello Lady With The BIG SUV in Front Of Me,
Yesterday you ran me off the road. It kind of upset me.. Just a tad.. lol..
Luckily, I'm not a confrontational person... and very rarely do I road rage..(I just rant on my blog lol) But I would like to make TWO very small suggestions. (Make that 4 :)

1. If you cannot manage to drive such a large vehicle, safely, please reconsider your means of transportation and purchase a smaller vehicle. I know plenty of women who can handle BIG trucks.. You are not one of them.
2. I love fashion... in fact, I think it's really *great* sometimes. :) Designer clothes.. hand bags.. I even have some Prada Sunglasses.. etc. BUT, Maybe you should rethink those BIG glasses on your face. . If it impairs your vision to the point where you cannot see me driving next to you.. or you get too carried away in your Hollywood Dreamworld that you don't realize there are OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROAD(in Fayetteville, NOT L.A.).. Maybe you should stick to a smaller set of shades that doesn't block your thinking brain waves instead of UVs.
3. Stickers are FUN! I love seeing the little stick figure families, Terrific Kids, Cheer and Band decals.. you name it! BUT If --all 15 stickers-- obstructs your view enough to almost kill someone... Maybe you should stick to a limit of 1 or 2 small stickers.
4. I've lived in NC most of my life... born and raised (minus military outings) and I do believe that your ACTUALLY supposed to signal when switching lanes.** Note-- You didn't.

Anyways... I feel like I just went thru Driver's Ed all over again lol.. but it bugs me that this lady didn't care a bit in the world that she totally ran me off the road, looked me in the face, and kept going without even the courtesy of a wave.

He looks,, how I feel. lol. Or at least how I've felt the last few days.
I think I have the flu.. ?? But yeah. My weekend was great. The retreat was full up, BUT we made our own and had a great time.. Went to Raleigh Saturday night .. wow did we come across a BAD accident!! It was about 12 am on 95 when we saw a Jeep flipped on the side of the road. Two people were inside and thank God they both had seat belts on!! It's the only reason they could walk away from that. The girl just had a bad seat belt cut on her chest.. but the guy was banged up pretty bad.. his head had a couple deep gashes.. and his arm had a rather deep cut also... so there was a lot of blood. Rescue team got there quick.. high five to that! Anyways.. glad that they were ok.. and glad we didn't end up in the mix.. Alright,, I REALLY need to get some work done today lol.... So I'm outta here!

No, this is NOT Jesus coming from the sky.. this is our our parking lot at about 3 am on Mike's birthday ... His car had caught on fire..

It was a month of suck-ness lol...

Dealing with insurance.. $$$ ... and just the DAMN car ... ::cough cough:: again..

Right when things were looking up.. BAM.. in our faces...

Not only did it catch on fire.. but then, the tow truck cracked his BRAND NEW bumper...

yeah.. it was a month of "one thing after the next"..
Anyways.. things are back to good now.. and we've survived.. so you'll be seeing more of my posts:)

hmm,, pictures might take a while.. (at least new pictures..) *yep, you guessed it, ,, my camera broke also.. * Like I said.. last month was NON stop..

Somebody's got a case of the muhndays...

Hello world!
It's Monday, mundane Monday. It's almost like every other Monday... BUT with one difference!! My dad comes home for his break in less than a week!!! That means that in a matter of days I'll get to hold my dad in my arms again! I can't begin to express how excited I am :0D








Anyways, today Mike's car should be finished.. it should start the tuning process tonight and then hopefully it will be "done" (at least for the most part lol)
As far as anything else.. not much going on today..
I REALLY wanna go home and make some apple muffins.. or some peanut butter cookies.. , but I'm not sure if that'll happen today due to the fact that I might have to be driving/riding with Mike to pick up his car.
We'll see! If I DO end up baking,, there will be pictures and a recipe tonight or tomorrow.
Alright! Enough of me for now.. I've got some work to do!

Hello Everyone!
Well, this weekend turned out pretty good! (Minus some car stuff.. :0/ )
Mike realized his bent rim was actually CrACkEd... therefore, forcing him to put his stock wheels on his car... (Yay for Aristos lol)
He normally runs his Ultraleggeras, BUT! (here comes the story). . . we hit a pot-hole a while back and dented his front passenger side rim...riding around on this, in time, probably caused the rim to crack.
*sigh*...This car can definitely try your patience! lol
Anyways.. I guess we'll have to wait till we can get some extra money saved ... $300 dollars for a new wheel ... and then probably a good amount for 2 new front tires.. :) More updates to come with that!
Onto other car stuff... Mike's turbo should be up and running soon! I know he's super excited that he'll have a highway killer!.. Awe!! my baaaaybeeee.. lol I love when he's happy!
