My favorite Christmas gift this year! :)

I went to the post office the other morning and found a pretty little package slip in my box. I went the the window, exchanged it for my package, and frolicked home.

My lovely cousin Mindy made this cozy blanket for me! It's super cute and warm for all the snowy nights we have here. It will get plenty of use over the next few months.

My mother shared this photo with me tonight and I thought it was just spellbinding! It reminds me of the sacrifices all of our service people make daily! Thank you all and may God bless you this holiday season!
I would also like to take a moment to congratulate my brother Robert on making 'FIREFIGHTER OF THE YEAR'!!!  I am SO proud of him and his dedication to the department! Hope you are all staying toasty and preparing to take on the New Year!!

I know I promised some pictures of the cake.. But like usual, I have been quite busy! 

It's a Friday night and I'm at home.. procrastinating with my packing and organizing. I've got Coraline playing on the T.V. and a comfy spot made up on the floor. I guess there is no better time than now to finally post some wedding shots. The cake was vanilla and chocolate marble with chocolate frosting and filling.. oh, and sunflower cupcakes! :) (chocolate of course!)

Ariana's Birthday Cake!

Ariana's birthday! (august)

She wanted a vanilla cake, with sprinkles inside... and decorated with her favorite colors.. notice her hair barrets on her wrist and how they match her cake lol.. nice one.

ANYWAYS! done with pictures.. wish I had more,, but maybe next time. The day turned out great.. everyone had a blast and the food was AWESOME! Aunt Lisa made a HUGE amount of food! Chicken, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, potato salad, beans, macaroni salad.. etc..

You definitely out-did yourself! ... YuM!
